Itinerary

The Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek 6-day itinerary is arranged as seen below :

Day 1 : On the first day, you will be driven through Siwai(2,170-2,340m). It will take 2-3 hours to reach Siwai. From there, the trekking journey starts as you go along trekking to Chhomrong.

Day 2 : On the second day, a light breakfast will be provided to our trekkers. From Siwai, we will be trekking along Bamboo (2,310m). Our main destination on this day is reaching Dovan (2,600m).

Day 3 : On the third day, we hike at a slow pace to be safe from altitude sickness. While trekking along the way, it is advised to have enough water to avoid dehydration. Along the way, trekkers can have a glance at the rhododendron and bamboo forest. With hours of hiking along the trails, you will reach Deurali. There you will be staying overnight.

Day 4 : On the fourth day, we continue our trekking journey and hike along and reach Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC)  at 3700m. The hiking pace should be medium to match the high altitude. We will finally reach our main destination Annapurna Base Camp(4,130m). The main attraction of this phase is watching the heart-warming view of 360° peak panoramas at dawn.

Day 5 : On the fifth day, we will have a quick glance at a beautiful sunrise slowly exposing the best of the himalayas in Nepal. Trekkers can have the best moment of their life and enjoy the moment in one of the most beautiful places in Nepal. After finishing breakfast at the lodge, we will be trekking back towards Bamboo for an overnight stay.

Day 6 : On the sixth day, we will hike all the way from Chomrong to Jhinu Danda. There, our hikers will be having their lunch. Then, our team will drive you towards Pokhara finally ending this short tour.

What are the challenges trekkers face during the Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek ?

The Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a short trek package designed for trekkers with limited time. This trek package is quite challenging for new trekkers. But experienced trekkers can face it without much effort. Trekkers can find the following challenges along the way to trekking :
