Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is truly a life-changing experience. Many believe that it takes several lifetimes or generations to receive the divine calling to undertake this sacred pilgrimage. My father and I discovered ABC & EBC Trekking Adventure online from the USA in March 2026, and we joined their Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in June 2026. It turned out to be one of the most incredible experiences of our lives for so many reasons. From the very beginning, the team's professionalism, attention to detail, timely communication, assistance with paperwork, and genuine care made the entire journey seamless and memorable. This is not an easy trek—it requires months of preparation, conscious health choices, careful packing, and detailed planning before even arriving in Kathmandu.
Our journey began in Kathmandu, where for nearly two weeks we were exceptionally well taken care of, every single day—even during the "free days" while waiting for our Chinese visas. The team ensured we had opportunities to explore Kathmandu, prepare physically and mentally, and pray before beginning the Yatra.Once we entered Tibet, the Yatra was conducted with the highest level of safety and organization. The combined Nepalese and Tibetan teams were outstanding. They provided language support, managed every logistical detail, and gave us wonderful local experiences while ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the journey.
On the first day of the Yatra, I experienced low oxygen levels and became quite unwell. The tour leaders, guides, cooks, drivers, and the entire support staff immediately stepped in and took exceptional care of me. They made sure I received prompt medical attention and closely monitored my condition until I recovered. I will always be grateful for the compassion and professionalism they showed during that difficult time.
The biggest advantage of undertaking this Yatra with ABC & EBC Trekking Adventure is that they never treat you like a one-time customer. Their entire crew of more than 15 people treats every traveler like family. From preparing nutritious and delicious meals, providing clean and comfortable accommodations, explaining every step of the complex Chinese immigration process, offering continuous weather and health guidance, and even gently reminding us to breathe properly at high altitude—they thought of everything.
Every member of the team genuinely cared about our well-being and success. Their dedication, warmth, and hospitality transformed a challenging pilgrimage into an unforgettable spiritual journey.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it speaks volumes that I have already decided to undertake the Yatra again with ABC & EBC Trekking Adventure in June 2027, this time with my friends and family.
